We had all sorts of trouble deciding where to go for our honeymoon. Kiel and I have spent most of our time together since college graduation traveling. We've been all over from Italy to Hawaii to the Carribean. We wanted to go somewhere exotic, somewhere that most people dream of going... I did all sorts of research. We finally came up with something we thought would be epic, The French Riviera. We also took a huge leap, and booked a homeaway rental, as opposed to staying at a hotel. Let me tell you... we were NOT disappointed. We stayed in an incredible apartment just outside of Nice, France. The apartment was two bedrooms, one bath. It had a large open floor plan and an amazing veranda that overlooked the mediterranean. We spent most afternoons sunbathing and drinking wine right outside our home. We rented a little ford fusion so that we could come and go as we please. They had a decent bus system that we could have used, but we didn't want to be limited at all. Everyday was an incredible adventure, especially since neither one of us speaks french. The wine was incredible, the food was amazing, and the views were breathtaking. We ended up being very happy with our choice and I would recommend going there in a heart beat.
